  Habit 4 Harmony

Our Habit 4 Harmony for May is "We are learning the habit of keeping our hands and feet to ourselves".

This month,  we are learning the habit of Keeping our Hands and Feet to Ourselves. Every classroom has had a lesson on the need to keep our hands and feet to ourselves. All children and staff in the school have a common understanding of what this habit looks like in our school community.

Each classroom will focus on this habit and will have a celebration at the end of July to show that they have developed this habit in a positive way. Each   classroom  will decide what their end of month celebration will be.  We will keep a record of all student incidents. If your child has 3 or more incidents of keeping their hands and feet to themselves, you will receive a letter

notifying you that he/she will not be participating in the class celebration. Your child will be supervised at school during this time.  Our Habits of Harmony program will recognise students who have established positive  habits, encourage students to learn these habits and provide a consequence for students who chose not to contribute to the positive harmony at our school.  You can support this program at home by discussing the monthly habit we are learning and explain to your child how this habit leads to harmony at school and at home.
